Saraki Sends Dogara to Beg Buhari for Forgiveness

President Muhammadu Buhari granted audience to the Speaker of the House of Reps, Hon, Yakubu Dogara on Monday night over the ongoing prosecution of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, for alleged false declaration of his assets with the intention of looting and acquiring such assets later.

The meeting said to have been held late in the night. Dogara had reportedly “secured a booking” to meet with Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa.

Presidency Confirms Diezani’s Arrest

 

The Nigerian presidency has confirmed the London arrest of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

You will recall that she was arrested over allegations of corruption and money laundering.
