UK Court Has Seized Millions From Diezani’s Mother

Stealing the money belonging to all Nigerians and using it to live large, sleeping in the best hotels in some of the most expensive cities in the world, buying mansions, private jets, etc. in collaboration with members of your family. That is the reality, most of the men and woman in government are thieves.


Just imagine this, the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency has secured the seizure of the sum of £5,000 and $2,000 (Millions of Naira) from Mrs. Beatrice Agama, mother of the former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

United Kingdom’s NCA secured the seizure of the sum of £27,000 (N8,155,164.37) in the case involving the former Petroleum Minister at the Westminster Magistrates Court, London.

Diezani claimed she was sick and didn't appear in court but her mother, Beatrice Agama and one Melanie Spencer, were in court.

She was arrested on Friday with four other people by the International Corruption Unit (ICU) of the UK’s National Crimes Agency. The Presidency on Sunday confirmed her arrest, saying it is working closely with British law enforcement over allegations of corruption and money laundering levelled against the former minister.

Also a security source said, EFCC made “significant recovery” of documents at her Abuja residence.
