Miss Washington USA resigns after allegedly stabbing footballer, Marco Pappa

Miss Washington USA 2015 Stormy Keffeler has resigned after she was found by police in a South Lake union apartment with USA Colarados midfielder Marco Pappa who was stabbed in the abdomen. He was rushed to the hospital and has since undergone surgery.

Police sources say Keffeler gave a totally different explanation from Pappa as to what happened. No arrests have been made so far but there are indications that she might have stabbed him.

Buhari Should Be Impeached Over The Missing 2016 Budget? APC Reacts

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the call by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The PDP attacked the president after the senate accused the presidency of altering the 2016 budget.

In a statement on Thursday, PDP asked National Assembly to impeach Buhari, and called for resignation of the finance minister, Kemi Adeosun, and budget and national planning minister, Udo Udoma.

CBN assures Dangote of Dollars to Finance the $14bn Refinery

When you are a real big man, you get special treatment. The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mr. Godwin Emefiele, during a tour of Dangote refinery which is projected to refine 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day, assured Dangote Group that it will support its access to Foreign Exchange in order to build its proposed $14billion refinery in Nigeria.

The CBN governor said that the support was to help with the importation of equipment needed to bring the Dangote refinery to reality and save Nigerians the stress associated with fuel scarcity issues.

Acting Chairman of EFCC Ibrahim Magu says the agency is yet to arrest former President Goodluck Jonathan because no document has been traced to Jonathan giving any approval for the disbursement of the money for any purpose other than arms purchase.

Speaking at a meeting he had with online publishers in Lagos yesterday January 11th, Magu said all those that have been arrested and questioned in connection with the arms deal scandal were people who disbursed or collected money for reasons other than the purchase of arms and ammunition. “All approvals by former president Jonathan did not mention that it was for political purposes" he said.
