300 Level Student Killed Over Girlfriend

When love goes wrong. A 300 level student of Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Bashir Musa was said to have been killed in a fight over a girlfriend last Friday.

It was learnt that the trouble that led to the death of Musa began when his girlfriend, Aisha Sale, a student of Jigawa state Polytechnic who is befriending six others including the deceased, all from same university visited one of her boyfriend in Yalwawa quaters of the state capital.

Buhari To Replace NNPC Boss, Ibe Kachikwu, With Northerner

This is expected...if the minister is from the South, the GMD of NNPC should come from the North.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to replace the Group Managing Director, GMD, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu.

Sources say Buhari has already picked out three persons from the North for the top job, including Deputy Managing Director of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), Isa Mohammed Inuwa.

Civil Servants October Salaries Now Ready – Presidency

The presidency has said that workers’ salaries for the month of October which could not be paid at end of the month is now ready and will be paid between Tuesday and Wednesday. No need to panic.

The development followed the restoration of the computers that crashed as the salaries were about being paid last month.

Goodluck Jonathan Gets Praises Over Tanzania’s Election

Many have hailed former President Goodluck Jonathan, who led the Commonwealth election observer mission to Tanzania, over the success of the presidential poll of the East Africa country.

The election was won by John Magufuli. Recalled that Tanzanians expressed their happiness that Jonathan, who conceded defeat after he was trashed by Muhammadu Buhari, led the election observers.
